Probably the most watched event at last years Braidwood Show was the Snake Man who did six shows over the day, each attracting a very large crowd. Well he's back for the March 15th Braidwood Show! We have also brought back the Climbing Wall which tested a lot of young climbers and we add to these attractions a Patting Paddock to suit all ages , a real mix of farm animals and pets for close encounter.
We apologise for the much diminished side shows last year but a combination of close rival shows and a family tragedy affected our show seriously. 2008 sees no rival shows and a promise that following the Royal in Canberra, leading showmen and women will travel to Braidwood. We have a new and enthusiastic wine and beer steward, one Matthew Dojo Hulse, himself a home brewer, so do get those brews down ready for March 15.
We are always keen to hear of other attractions that Braidwood would like to see at our Show. Two elderly Show Society sales reps will be pacing the streets soon to talk about Advertising opportunities in our Show Schedule to be produced over Christmas.
