Happy 80th Birthday to our patron, June Young. June had many celebrations over the week, starting with a surprise BBQ at the club by her family on Saturday 31st March. June's children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were all there to surprise her and many of her friends.

On Wednesday 4th April, another surprise, as the lady bowlers organised a luncheon for June, June Edwards and Penne Roberts travelled up from Malua Bay for the day. June was presented with a lovely basket of flowers by Heather George and Monika Miller made the lovely Black Forest birthday cake. Thanks girls and Doreen for organising the day, as I wasn't able to be there.

We've had two trips away, first to Goulburn Railway for their 50th Birthday and Presidents Day. Doreen, Kay, Lorraine and Betty had a big win on the day.

Next we went to Batemans Bay for their 55th Birthday and Presidents Day. Heather, Doreen and Betty once again had a win against the Bay girls.

Our next trip is to Milton-Ulladulla on April 24th. Kay, Monika, Lorraine & Betty are the team, Good Luck.

As from the 2nd May, bowls will start at 11am. Our next meeting on 9th May will start at 2pm. There will be no Women's Bowls on Anzac Day, 25th April.

All the bowlers celebrating birthday's this month - "Happy Birthday", there's quite a few.

We've put flyers on the Bowls boards, received from other clubs, for their Winter Carnivals, so please check the board as some Carnivals may be of interest.

We're having a "Mothers Day raffle" on Sunday 3rd May, a nice basket of 'goodies'. Tickets $1 each from the Lady Bowlers. The basket will be displayed at the Club.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mums.
