All news breaks were advising people to stay tuned to local ABC - something we don't have access to. Yes, I agree that many can stay connected on-line or by smart phone but this avenue of communication will leave some people out of the loop.
Can we foresee a day when perhaps we can all turn on our battery powered radios in the event of disasters and catch the latest ABC local news and emergency updates?
