Member for Monaro John Barilaro said "The information session is part of on-going community engagement about roadside hazards on the Kings Highway at Braidwood."
"RMS has worked with Palerang Council and Corkery Consulting to prepare the draft plan for the avenues of trees on the Kings Highway at Braidwood after a tree management plan workshop held in 2012.
"The community is invited to comment on the plan until Monday 4 March.
"The drop in session will be held on Wednesday 13 February from 4.30pm to 7pm in the Council's meeting room at the Old Library on Park Lane at Braidwood.
"The information session will provide an opportunity for questions and discussion with the RMS project team."
The plan recommends that the poplar avenues and other trees be removed after replacement trees are established at 5 metres height.
