The Braidwood Fishing Club headed to Narooma for its February Fishing comp. While the weather was kind the seas were not. It was too rough for anyone to go off shore, as two Sydney fishermen found out when they had to be rescued when their boat was swamp at the Narooma bar.

Our fishing was done in Wagonga inlet and the beaches. Some good salmon were taken from the beaches mainly by the clubs patron Ian Faviell and his wife Maureen.
A few of the boys got some good size prawns and blue swimmer crabs on Friday Night, which took most of the night so they told their wives (when Scoofer found his cabin).
The winners for the weekend were Female; Maureen Faviell, Male; Ian Faviell, Juniors; Ned Jefferys , Harrison Wall and Jono Coe.
The club would like to thank Steve Waters from Steven Waters Fencing who sponsored the weekend with some good prizes for the winners.
