On Sunday morning three people were rescued from their car at Oallen Ford.
The Shoalhaven River came up over a metre from when the driver stalled the car to when they were rescued.
It appeared that almost every emergency service from Windellama, Goulburn, Braidwood, Nerriga were present before eventually a boat arrived to rescued the three people stranded at the car.
Overnight a storm front dumped over 50mm of rain around the district and Braidwood residents were woken early by loud thunder claps over town.
