The Braidwood Golf Club has instigated a programme in the hope of attracting new members into golf. Damien Bates, a former professional at the Gold Creek Club in Canberra, has begun clinics for both men and ladies on a Wednesday morning at the Club. The golf club is partially sponsoring these lessons for a short period.

The practice facilities, sponsored by Braidwood Community Bank, are being put to good use.
The ladies clinic is at 9am, and the men’s clinic is at 10am. Should the numbers in the clinic exceed 5 people, additional clinics will follow on the day.
