Before the heavens opened 218 runs provided spectators with some fine examples of how cattle are sorted and handle on horseback. It is always entertaining to listen to the spectators and competitors who are unable to count in order from zero to nine!
The Braidwood Team Sorting committee would like to thank their wonderful sponsors - Ross and Lynette Lavis, Tim and Kristie Morrison and Wongabel Pastoral Company for their generous donations of cattle, Horseland, Hiscock’s Saddlery, Ray White Braidwood, Landmark, Braidwood Rural, Braidwood Soil Construction, RN & RK Laurie, Braidwood Rodeo Association for the use of the sand, Schute Bell, South Coast Decorative Concrete, Nagz Bagz, Reg and Joan Webb, Tam Arnold purchased and donated all the eggs, Kerry Gibson ‘Love My Horse Horseware’, Russ Derwent for judging, all the timekeepers, stock handlers and many volunteers and competitors who helped over the weekend.
We would also like to thank the spectators and the local Braidwood community for their encouragement and support toward the competitors, they all appreciated it.
See you all again on Anzac weekend at the Braidwood Showground Combined Horse Sports Bonanza!
