Over the past few years the St Bede’s Primary Easter Hat Parade down and up Wallace Street has become an event to look forward to as parents and shopkeepers and a few bemused tourists line the street to give and receive east eggs from the students and marvel at the array of festive hats – and it’s always fun to watch a headmaster in a bunny suit stop the holiday traffic to let the students cross over.
