The recent hearing tests held at the local men’s shed have been productive in more ways than one. Several men have been referred for further tests to enable them to make a choice about improving their hearing. As well as that most bought in their posted “$20 Bunnings Card” to enable us to purchase new tools this week. Thank you to all participants and check out the local hospital if you missed out on a check-up.

A few of our members were laid low this week with a fluey thing. We still managed a good roll up on last Friday and were treated to a terrific pumpkin soup lunch. We hope Don doesn’t head overseas too much and keeps up the great tucker.
Blokes were kept fairly busy painting doors and upgrading the tennis umpire’s chairs.
Fantastic to see Danny King wet sealing the toilets and joining us for morning tea. Thanks heaps Danny.
We’d also like to thank Melinda from the shire who has, once again, given us continuing advice. This complements the office staff who are always most helpful.
After signing up two new members recently we’d like to remind all men that new members are always welcome. We do our stuff every Friday from 9:30 am.
Our next meeting is at the Services club on Thursday the 7th August commencing at 7pm.
