This is a long par 3, which leads back up to the Club House. The flag is often hard to spot against the background of the clubhouse and associated structures, so just aim in the general direction and cross your fingers.
Only the longest hitters of the ball are likely to reach the green with their drive from the tee. The fairway has a steep fall to the right, and if your ball falls even slightly short of the flatter area just before the green, you may watch it with dismay as it rolls down towards the rough and back towards you. If you are not a long hitter, ideally you need to be on the left hand side of the fairway, but too far left means trouble in the form of rough with many trees. Up there is rarely a clear shot to the green.
A deep bunker on the right of the green may come into play more often than you wish, as it is reachable from the tee for longer hitters. If your tee shot (or your second) is slightly sliced to the right, it can too easily run into this trap. However it is not a difficult hole if you stay out of trouble. But then, is that not one of the mantras of golf? The green is fairly flat, though the left side off-green is often boggy, so watch out.
