Bridgette Sly cooked up a triumphant meal starting with Dojo bread with black truffle butter followed by truffled asparagus, crème fraiche bavarois and black truffle pepper lavosh. A main of sweet corn polenta, confit chicken breast, braised leeks and truffle, was followed by an indescribably delicious Jerusalem artichoke crème brulee with shaved black truffle. After this dizzying amount of the delicacy diners were hit with the ultimate truffle bomb of chocolate truffles with coffee.
The dinner brings the Capital Region Truffle Festival to an end for this season and all who attended are eagerly looking forward to next year’s Festival.
