The Braidwood Parish would like to deeply thank our community for its great support of the Annual Daffodil Fair.
“Despite the coolness of the weather we were greatly blessed with a wonderful time together and excellent results at each of the stalls on the day” said Peter Malone.
The lucky winners of all the raffles on the day were: Major raffle: Penny Roberts; Wood raffle: Tony Bray; Cake and Craft Stall: Aaron Hilborn
Araluen raffle:1st – Norma Flack, 2nd – Chris Piper. White Elephant:1st - Libby Raynolds, 2nd – Iris Griggs, 3rd – Sonya Horan.
Many thanks also to all the budding young artists in town – your entries in the Colourful Picture Competition were indeed very colourful and showed vivid imagination. The enthusiastic participation from so many young people was just great to see and all the winners have been presented with prize certificates.
The sponge cake competition was won by Katie Lyons. Last, but by no means least, the honour of the Grand Champion Daffodil went this year to Jennie Sutherland. Congratulations Jennie!
