Toby, eleven, is a student at Braidwood Central School and is a member of Monaro Archers.
NSW State Field Championship was a huge success for Monaro Archers and Toby’s gold medal was won in the recurve barebow cub division.
Toby’s father Adam says “This is an awesome achievement from his first stage level event and a huge next step from the two silver medals he earned in the club championships for 2013/14.”
As part of Monaro Archers - Bungendore, Toby shoots barebow recurve, uses a Hoyt Bow and Beman Arrows. He has been shooting for about 2 years and Field and Clout are his favourite archery disciplines.
Monaro Archers is based in Queanbeyan and is looking to expand further into Bungendore and Braidwood.
