The start of the warmer weather saw the Braidwood Fishing Club head to South Durras for its first competition since winter. The club stayed at the Lake Sea Caravan park where everyone was well looked after by Scott and his staff who organised for the local Shimano dealer to provide a presentation on new fishing techniques. The club also welcomed Ian from the DPI (Fisheries) who gave a presentation on catch and release, which created a bit of interest amongst the club.

The weekend was the Patrons Comp. Sponsored by Ian & Maureen Faviell. The Club would like to thank them for their support. The winners for the weekend were: Juniors: Charlie Vutros; Male: Bruce Harrington & Ross Lavis, and Female: Julie Harrington.
