About 80 people gathered at the Club for a night of trivia, fun and frivolity and along the way, raised about $3000 for the not-for-profit service.
There were plenty of laughs as guests launched their creations in the paper plane-throwing competition, some creative calculations in a bid to get ahead on the points table and more than one attempt at bribery!
The result went down to the wire, with The Scaries pipping their closest rivals, BBL, by a mere two points, followed by Masquerades, The Reluctants and 2B4 all tied for third place.
The Silent Auction created some frenzied bidding, with a Kate Curruthers painting proving a popular item among guests, and the Braidwood Community Bank's Wheel of Fortune was a hit, with eight lucky winners pocketing $40 when their number came up.
A huge thanks goes to everyone who attended, their generosity on the night and to our amazing sponsors who didn't hesitate when asked to donate items or vouchers to the cause: Braidwood Community Bank, Kate Curruthers,Braidwood Dental Practice, Braidwood Services Club, Len Mutton and Co, Braidwood Vet Surgery,Braidwood Post Office, Dojo Bread, Bursaria Workshop, The Braidwood Times, Hair on Ryrie Street,Braidwood Outdoors, Braidwood IGA, Stur Gallery and Galifrey Alpaca Textiles.
