The finals of the Southern Zone Team Sorting were held at Taralga on the week end of 1st and 2nd November. Only the top 50 point scorers (senior and juniors) from the past season were eligible to compete over the week end. Braidwood Team Sorting was well represented with 10 of the team selected to compete in the finals. Two hundred and thirty runs were held and all members of the team managed to sort a high number of cattle for the weekend. Five of the team were successful in winning 1st place in selected categories. Emily Lavis and Minni Arnold won the fastest time for the junior’s round, Guy Laurie with James Scanes won fastest time in the second round, Reg Webb with Tony Pearce won the fastest time in round three and overall fastest time run over the weekend with a time of 59.87 for sorting ten head of cattle. Robert Laurie won the Southern Zone Team Sorting overall highest point scorer for the year. Congratulations to you all.

Braidwood Team Sorting will be holding their fundraising weekend on 28th February and 1st March 2015. Entries will open on Wednesday 28th January 2015 at 6.30pm. Contact details will be advertised closer to the time of entries.
Braidwood Team Sorting and the Braidwood Rodeo Club are working towards raising funds for portable stock yards for the Braidwood Showground. These yards will benefit pony club, cattle events and be available for other sporting clubs who wish to hire them. All hiring fees of the yards will be put towards improving the infrastructure on the Braidwood Showground.
