CareFlight and Ambulance helicopters have attended a car accident on the NSW Central Coast, in which a female driver and three young children were injured.

The car left the road and struck an embankment on Avoca Road, Green Point. It is not believed to have rolled.
The 28-year-old driver and one child were trapped in the vehicle but were cut free by Fire and Rescue NSW in about 20 minutes.
The CareFlight rapid response trauma team were called to the scene shortly before 11am and landed 15 minutes later in a nearby reserve.
"A six-year-old boy with head injuries and multiple fractures was transferred to the CareFlight helicopter to be flown to the Children's Hospital at Westmead in a serious but stable condition," said CareFlight in a statement.
"The 28-year-old woman and a two-year-old, both with multiple injuries, were transferred to the NSW Ambulance helicopter, also to be flown to Westmead, while an 18-month-old was taken by road ambulance to Gosford Hospital."
CareFlight estimate the journey from the scene to Westmead hospital took around 12 minutes.
It is understood the woman is the mother of at least one of the children.
