Four out of the 10 steers presented by Braidwood Central School at the Sydney Royal Easter Show placed in one of 6 classes entered with a 3rd, a 4th and two 5ths in classes with no less than 30 competitors in each class.

Forbes Corby gained a 3rd place in the School Cattle Paraders, and Sophie Cargill, representing zone 7 gained a third in the State Final Paraders.
At the sheep section BCS backed up a great Canberra Royal with most successful Texel exhibitor including Champion and Reserve Ewe, as well as Peter Taylor’s pen of 3.
Individual success at the sheep included a 4th for Inga Neilsen at state final of Meat Breed Sheep Judging (also representing zone 7), as well as a 3rd for Inga and a 5th for Caleb Mann in sheep junior Handling.
Masses of other class wins in the sheep section with the results for the Carcases and herdsman competitions due this week.
Overall, the Braidwood Central School Show Team saw fantastic success with a committed and hardworking group of students who continue to go from strength to strength. More photos page 3.
