The total yarding of 1445 calves. The calves have had the benefit of an exceptional season and were in excellent condition with a large percentage of the heifers going to processors. Heavy rain overnight didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the crowd or the prices. Approximately 80% of the steers and heifers were curfewed, and weighed and sold in cents per kilo.
