The silent auction is made up of artworks by over 20 of our local artists.
The auction on the evening will be conducted by Phil Shoemark and raffle tickets for around 20 wonderful prizes are available at many places around town.
The community has been very generous in all that has been donated so don’t miss out!
The Braidwood Life Centre helps many people in the community in need of assistance, old and young. The Centre has volunteers visiting the elderly and is a hand up to those in need; 24/7 by phone, or at their room on Thursdays, 10 am – midday.
Support includes vouchers for food, fuel and gas. Referrals are made to agencies in Canberra and Queanbeyan where necessary.
The BLC also runs the Duke of Edinburgh Award programme in town for our youth. Bus trips are also available to Canberra in the school holidays and they are about to set up a group for young mothers.
BLC is a registered charity supported by all the Churches and the wider community of Braidwood.Any donation that you make to us over $2 is tax deductable and will be gratefully received.
Single tickets or table bookings for the Auction can be made at the Braidwood Community Bank and raffle tickets can be purchased there prior to the event as well.
