The Australian model took to her Instagram account on Wednesday to share an intimate snap of her pregnant self, taken some two months before she gave birth to her son, Rocket.

The black and white image showed the 27-year-old taking a picture of her bump in the mirror.

Bingle captioned the image: "28 weeks pregnant in London."

The Being Lara Bingle star gave birth to Rocket Zot on March 24 at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles.

The boy is the first child for Bingle and her (not confirmed, but almost definitely) husband, actor Sam Worthington.

Despite her reality television past, Bingle and Worthington have recently taken a very reserved approach to sharing her private life with her fans.

In September 2014, the couple made headlines after Bingle deleted every picture of Worthington she had on her account, and Worthington deleted his account.

At the time, speculation was rife that the couple had split. However, the public's fears were alleviated when Bingle changed her account name to "Lara Bingle Worthington" in December, prompting the rumour mill to start spinning the other way, saying that the Australian A-listers had wed.

In an interview with Gritty Pretty in March, Bingle explained that she was consciously trying to post less of her personal life online.

"I realised people were making money from it," she said.

"Everything I'd post, they'd make a story out of it."

Bingle has remained coy about both motherhood and her love life, only confirming the birth of Rocket Zot after an opinion piece written by The Daily Telegraph's Annette Sharp criticised their rumoured (and now confirmed) choice of name.

"My sons [sic] middle name IS a respectful nod to my late father, whose nickname was affectionately, Zot," Bingle posted to her social media platforms.

"I wish Australian journalism . . . would rethink employing people who have some respect, and integrity, who either fact check or not comment – rather than just print the juvenile, spurious ramblings of some pseudo journalist."
