A letter from the Trust was received on Monday confirming the Listing of the 1923 building, which the community had fought to save from demolition during the 80s and 90s. Starting life as a roller-skating rink, the Theatre is now a central part of the life of Braidwood.
“ Listing by the National Trust does not have any legal force. It is however, recognised as an authoritative statement of historical, architectural importance or other value of a building.”
