Held in the Braidwood Central School Gym, in conjunction with a special Farmers Market, the event was buzzing from start to finish with students working under the guide of chef Christian Hauberg to produce truffle and chestnut soup, rossini beef rolls and Portuguese tarts.
There was standing room only at the lectures on fungi by Emeritus Professor Jim Trappe from Oregon, Andrew Claridge and Todd Elliott about the importance and variety of fungi and native truffles.
Proceeds from the day will go to the Braidwood MPS.
