Two highlights on the program included the announcement of 2015 Face of Thoroughbred Events Australia and the milliner of the chosen crown.
Kerry McGlone of Braidwood was invited as one of the eight milliners to create a crown for the winner. Kerry was successful and won with her elegant floral head piece.
Kate Goodwin competed for the title, modelling stylish evening and race wear. At the end of the evening eight finalists were named and Kate was crowned the 2015 Face of Thoroughbred Events Australia.
Part of Kate’s role as ambassador will be competing in one of the Milliner Neil Grigg’s pieces at Crown Oaks Day as part of this year’s Melbourne Cup program.
Neil is a noted and successful milliner to some key celebrities.
