What an evening at Braidwood Central on 30 July. The school’s annual celebration of all things education was a colourful evening full of displays of student work, tasty food and beverages prepared by hospitality students and numerous performances from the music and drama classes, as well as a few impromptu dance routines throughout the evening.

Despite the cold and blustery evening the event saw the school community turn up in force to support this showcase of the school and its students.
Some of the highlights of the evening were the sheep and fencing displays showcasing the exceptional talents of agricultural students; the event planning and wedding display showing the amazing talents of our senior English students; the cow naming competition as part of a new initiative of the K-6 section of the school; and the variety of amazing work on display from Kindergarten to Year 12 students. Items on display ranged from pictures and posters to writing samples, bookwork, puppets, woodwork and 3D models.
There were also a number of information sessions run throughout the evening – for students entering Kindergarten and Years 8, 9, 10 and 11 in 2016. If you weren’t able to make it to one of the sessions, please contact the school on 4842 2249 to obtain an information package.
