During the speeches at his retirement at Torpeas in Braidwood, School Directors, Principals, Deputy Principals, consultants, teachers and ex-pupils all spoke of his passion for public education and children, his patience and persistence, his wise advice for principals and school leaders and his down to earth and very productive and practical advice for teachers from Kindergarten to year 12.
