Heavy rain leading up to and on the weekend may have dampened spectator enthusiasm but did not deter riders from enjoying the competitive spirit of International and National Competitions.
In the International Competition after 51 games there was only 1 point separating the Australian and New Zealand teams, after the final game Australia held on to finish in front of New Zealand followed by USA and South Africa.
Our New South Wales team consisting of Will Conn (Glenorie), Andie Biondic (Sutton), Tom Thorek (Bungendore), Shaun Thompsen (Hunter Valley) and Lucy Fanning (Braidwood) were successful in winning the National Competition ahead of arch rivals Victoria and South Australia.
