Rousey was photographed by TMZ walking on the streets in Los Angeles, with a young girl on Thursday and the following day with boyfriend Travis Browne and their dog.

The deposed champion appears to have recovered from the injuries she suffered after she was knocked out by Holm in one of the biggest sporting upsets of the year.

Rousey has kept a low profile since the loss, leading to speculation she may retire from mixed martial arts.

It was the first loss of Rousey's career, ending one minute into the second round. Her record is now 12 wins from 13 bouts in the MMA arena.

The event generated almost $9 million from the gate alone, so it was little wonder UFC was quick to announce that another event had been scheduled for Australia — in Brisbane on March 20, 2016.

Rousey's mother, AnnMaria De Mars, posted a picture containing her famous daughter on Instagram of their family's Thanksgiving Day celebrations with the caption "Every family get together we try to do a theme picture for my mom. #thanksgiving theme was funny hats". Rousey is pictured on the left, next to her mother.

Holm recently told The New York Times she was making a point of staying humble since her win.

"I also know that I'm beatable, so I'm going to train twice as hard. She's going to come back. She's mad that it's not her title anymore. I've got to be twice as ready as last time."
