Dear John, the more I look into this amalgamation issue the more proud I am of our Palerang Council and the more disgusted I am with our neighbouring Councils.
Bridges John, where has Palerang gone wrong? New ones, lets name them eh? Two at Araluen, Mongarlow, St. Omer, [dear to your heart no doubt] Bombay , Manar, Jembaicumbene, Back Creek this year, thankyou for Captains Flat, Turallo and repairs to Foxlow. I reckon that is pretty good for a young Council flat broke on day one.
John, there are no bridges in Palerang restricting transport at all. Cop this John. In the entire Goulburn/Mulwarree Rural Local Road network there are only two bridges capable of carrying a normal semi [42.5t.] That’s right John TWO.’
Please explain how the above will help the Palerang Community post Amalgamation.
W. Raynolds.
P.S.
Next week rates. John if you don’t know anything about rates it is time you did.
