Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council will hold three community meetings across the region over the coming fortnight to update residents on the merger and discuss a number of important Council projects and initiatives.

Council Administrator, Mr Tim Overall has confirmed that the meetings will be held in Queanbeyan (25 May), Braidwood (31 May) and Bungendore (1 June).
“A lot has happened in the region over the past week and these community meetings will provide the community the perfect opportunity to be informed on the changes and to seek clarification on any concerns they may have,” Mr Overall said.
“I was pleased to see such a good crowd at last Thursday’s Extraordinary Meeting in Bungendore and encourage the residents and ratepayers of the Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council to come along to these community meetings.
“I will be in attendance, along with a number of key senior staff members, to update residents on a range of projects and issues this Council is looking at.”
The following meetings will be held:
• Queanbeyan – Wednesday 25 May 2016 from 6pm-8pm at the Council Chambers, 253 Crawford St, Queanbeyan
• Braidwood – Tuesday 31 May 2016 from 6pm-8pm at the Council meeting room, Park Lane, Braidwood
• Bungendore – Wednesday 1 June 2016 from 6pm-8pm at Council Chambers, 10 Majara St, Bungendore
