The sixth Tony Davey memorial fishing comp was held at Dalmeny. The fishing conditions didn't really help the 20 anglers who were keen to catch a fish. However, most still wet a line, braving the wind and rough seas. Rosa Harrex was the star of the weekend with the biggest flathead. Bruce Stuart and Robyn Goodwin were the adult champs with their flathead.

It was good to see the club's boat, 'Wombat' in the lake. Tony was very proud to have the boat, which was constructed by fishing club members and Braidwood Central students, named after him six years ago.
Although we would have liked to see a few more fish, the group certainly had a wonderful time at Dalmeny. The traditional Saturday night roast is always a hit, with good friends reminiscing about the great times from the past.
