The Cub Scouts planned camp at the Saddle Camp with a hike to the Big Hole was postponed to November due to all the rain we received recently.
Scouts is more than just doing knots, and doing more comes from having capable energetic adult Leaders willing to teach our youth about self reliance and respect, leadership, with basic and diverse skills so that they can grow to be responsible citizens in our community.
Leadership is voluntary but has great rewards, seeing the youth grow from little kids into young responsible adults.
Do you want to have a go at building our youth for tomorrow? Come and join the Scouts. The Cub Scouts meet on Thursday evening from 6:15 to 7:45pm and the Scouts meet on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the hall in Coghill St.
Our Group Committee meet the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7pm at the hall, anyone interested in the Scouts is welcome.
