The Veolia Mulwaree Trust recently awarded the Majors Creek Recreation Reserve Trust a grant of $2770 towards the construction of a new storage facility on the Reserve. The Secretary/Treasurer of the Reserve Trust Brian McDonald OAM and the President Rudolph Stachow accepted the cheque from the Mayor of Goulburn, Geoff Kettle.

In accepting the cheque Mr Stachow acknowledged the previous outstanding contributions made by the Veolia Mulwaree Trust to the Majors Creek Recreation Reserve including grants towards a new tennis court and children's playground. He said that these grants add to the qualities of the Reserve and are a source of pride for many of the local residents.
22 organisations were successful in grants and donation applications in the latest round of funding, with a total of $158,446 distributed by the Veolia Mulwaree Trust. The Trust congratulated the organisations for their success in the latest round of Trust funding and twelve community groups were invited to attend a cheque presentation event on August 18th.
