Police have recovered a large quantity of power tools believed to be stolen.

7.20am: YASS. The rainfall recorded in the Yass Valley during September 2016 was more than seven times that of September 2015, breaking records set in the 1970s. 

According to the Bureau of Meteorology website (BOM), in the first 28 days of September 2016 165 millimeters of rain fell across the valley. Find out more here. 

7.15am: GOULBURN. Goulburn State Emergancy Services (SES) warns minor flooding will hit Goulburn in the next 48 hours resulting in multiple road closures.
