Deck the Halls
Don’t miss Braidwood’s “Deck the Halls” celebration in Ryrie Park on Saturday December 10. There has been brilliant community input and contribution to the party, so it should be a fantastic local community event. There are lots of local food vendors and local businesses and APEX are heavily involved in the event providing the man in red with some transportation help from the RFS. Come on down to see performances from Braidwood Central School music groups and the Braidwood Dance Studio, as well as Fireflies with their amazing fire acrobat display and the Drumassault percussion group.

Jupiter Windfarm
NSW Planning and Environment has placed on exhibition the amended development application for the Jupiter Windfarm. The Proponents were asked to address the shortcomings of the previous environmental impact statement. The approval process for this development is outside of Council’s prerogative, but there is significant community and Council interest in the project. The documents are on the NSW Planning and Environment website and can also be viewed at Council offices in Braidwood, Bungendore and Queanbeyan. They will be on exhibition until February 15, 2017.
