In the pavilion produce, artwork and handicraft will be displayed and judged.
Trade shows, vintage cars, a climbing wall, sideshows and family races will also add to the fun, with three special new events for this year’s show. These are the High Jump dog races, a Farmer’s Challenge and an Instagram competition.
The Young Farmers Challenge will be on again this year, featuring a grudge match between Braidwood Central School kids and a Goulburn Team.
The Goulburn team defeated Braidwood at last year’s Canberra show, only to be beaten by Braidwood on their home ground. This year, it’s up for grabs!
The event gives budding farmers under the age of 18 a chance to sharpen their skills with a surprise farming test.
