The annual Razzie – short for Golden Raspberry – Awards were born in 1981 as a counterattack on the establishment Oscars, a way of reminding the best and brightest that Hollywood was a very broad church.

Many have won in the years since, but few have claimed the small raspberry-shaped statues struck in their honour.
Donald Trump's Golden Raspberry Award, for example, which was won back in 1991 for his cameo appearance on the otherwise unremarkable B-movie Ghosts Can't Do It, remains unclaimed.
Appropriately enough, the now United States president won the award for worst supporting actor.
This year's big winner – or should that be loser? – is Hillary's America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party, the political documentary written and directed by Dinesh D'Souza and Bruce Schooley.
The documentary also won worst director, actor and actress.
The worst actor award would be particularly galling for filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza; he won the award for playing himself.
The two most nominated films were Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Zoolander 2 with eight nominations each.
Of those, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was the other big loser, winning worst screen combo, sequel and screenplay awards.
The Razzie Redeemer Award, which is given to a past Razzie nominee or winner who has "crossed into more appreciated works in film" went to Mel Gibson for his film Hacksaw Ridge.
The Barry L. Bumstead Award, which is given to a critical and financial failure that would have been nominated in the main categories had it been given an eligible release, went to Misconduct.
Misconduct, which starred Josh Duhamel, Malin Åkerman, Al Pacino and Anthony Hopkins, ended up in "limited release" and and through video on demand on streaming services.
Variety called it "a flagrantly derivative but modestly diverting drama of the sort that once claimed acres of shelf space at Blockbuster outlets."
