Thanks a bunch, Tim!
Now, Tim is proud to brag about repairs to Lascelles Street West, to be funded from the amalgamation gift of $10 million from the State.
Be clear: Lascelles Street is maintenance. The $10 million is for new work ie. an improvement in standard of living as opposed to merely retaining the same.
Tim, are you saying Tallaganda’s only chance of maintenance relies on the goodwill of the State?
PS. QPRC Administration, please itemise the expenditure of the entire $10 million, and when.

Alternative freight hub opportunity
Interesting to read an article in the Canberra Times recently about Canberra Airport being touted as a possible alternative freight hub for Sydney.
The arguments all centred around the access for B-double transport trucks being able to readily transfer freight to Sydney or Melbourne from Canberra.
But why hasn’t the NSW State Government ever considered Goulburn for this role? There is already the airport (little used) at Goulburn perfectly situated close to the major Sydney-Melbourne rail link and the Hume Highway.
