The Pinks’ goalie Lyndsey Mendham was taken out of goal late in the first half and moved into a forward position where she immediately scored a goal. The Pinks went to the half time break with the score sitting at 1-0.
Second half saw some great defending by the backs, who didn’t let a single ball through. This provided extra ball for the mids to deliver to the ever aggressive Pinks forwards, which lead to two more goals, scored by Lyla Crosbie.
The game was hard fought, but the Palerang Pinks efforts paid off with a 3-0 win.
The girls always take to the field with sheer determination in their sights for every game, they always play well as a team with the backs always giving 110% with their defending.
This win has put our girls at the top of the ladder – great job Pinks!
