The work charts the story of the widowed Philip Maher and his descendents. Maher arrived in Australia in 1852 with his ten children, widowed sister in law and her two children. The family settled at Reidsdale.
This exceptional 450 page book of family research is a welcome addition to the library and much appreciated.
The library has also acquired another local interest book: ‘Breed of their own’ by Tanya Friend. This beautiful photography book features many locals.
