The game started off with both sides finding their feet on the wet field. Once they got used to the wet slippery surface the girls gave their all against a very aggressive Belwest. Once again our team rose above all the aggression from the visiting side and showed their usual good sportsmanship when playing against Belwest, who continually tried to dominate and intimidate our girls.
Georgia Grant and Louise Story continually showed great defence in the back lines with good support from Claire Pettit, Kailey Conway and Tashani Davidson-Fuller. Abby Birkett, Jorja Noye and Jarrah Parsons all played a solid effort all over the field.
Ellie Weaver as always the happy smiling hard working mid and forward. Tess Gurling, Jessica Mendham and Logan Hunt all gave their best as well.
Lyndsey Mendham came out of goals and played very hard in the second half putting Crystal Dheurle in the nervous goal position, the one goal for the Pinks was scored by the ever hard working Lyla Crosbie.
The Pinks dominated the whole game with numerous shots at goal but were unsuccessful due to a fantastic goal keeper for Belwest.
The girls have two away games before they play in Kanga Cup in the first week of the July holidays being played in Canberra. Here's wishing them the best for Kanga Cup.
