Palerang players shine against Canberra Grammar

The winds did not stop the Under 12 Palerang team from going all out.

Unpleasant weather greeted under-12 Palerang, which played Canberra Grammar.

The forwards were quick off the mark, passing in and out to the wings to get a few quick runs on the board. Hughie Lyons had a busy day travelling backwards and forwards from mid to back lines.

Leroy was outstanding in the mid forward, with Isabella supporting teammate, Brodie. Angus once again showed consistency in his front right position, looking for gaps to intercept inside.

It was an 11-4 win, with skills growth from all players on show.

Our back line was also active with Josh, Noah and Reggie very busy keeping the ball away from Goalie Nathan who also was not kept bored by no means with some great saves and knock outs.

Our forwards continued to dominate in the second half, racking up an outstanding 11-4 win against Grammar.

Corners were high on the agenda, despite the difficult winds.

Goal Scorers: Isabella Hindmarsh, Brodie Parsons, Leroy Campbell Davies.
