Despite the extreme weather conditions on Friday the Braidwood Campdrafting weekend kicked off at midday with the Encouragement Draft, which had such a large entry that it had to be split into four individual drafts. Following was the Ladies draft and then the Open for Open. Fridays cattle were generously supplied by The Lavis family and Alan and Kathy Hannaford. On Saturday, in much more subdued weather conditions, drafting started at 6:30 am to enable organisers to get through such a large entry in both the Novice Draft and the Landmark feature Open. All the cattle for Saturdays drafting were supplied by the Braidwood Cattle Company.
