On Wednesday last week a number of cars belonging to the Braidwood Motor Club gathered for a family photo at the Recreation Grounds before driving up Wallace Street.
The entourage was lead by the glamorous ‘Dorothy’, a 1915 T model Ford in original condition, driven by her now owner Ian Bensley.
This line up of old treasures represents some of the nineteen vehicles BMC now has on the recently introduced H plate registration scheme. This scheme provides the owner with a log book that allows them to enjoy their cars up to 60 days per year.
So we can expect to see our heritage main street regularly graced by these beauties as BMC now has over sixty members who enjoy their common love of vehicles and motoring.
