Braidwood soccer last Saturday saw a very poor number of children attend the morning. Not sure if parents thought the season had ended? Or it might of been raining once again? Let’s try and see the junior local soccer show a little more effort and get their soccer boots on and hit the rec ground with enthusiasm next Saturday.
However in the Palerang games there were three wins from three games.
UNDER 14 GIRLS at Braidwood winning against Belnorth 3/1 then having to back up the next day in Canberra to play a make-up game and that game ending in a 2 all draw .It was a great game to watch with the girls playing their hearts out ...Under 12s also played in Canberra winning their game 7/0
UNDER 15s - played in Braidwood winning 5/0. Palerang teams you never play a game that isn't full of great action and excitement.
UNDER 12 – Another nail biting game against the Bellwest Pheonix at Latham Playing fields, although Bellwest defence was organized and showed great resilience Palerang once again showed what it takes to break through with fantastic runs and ball skills from all players resulting in a 6-0 win against Bellwest. It was great to see our guys get back to normal team structure, passing and calling for the ball and finally being comfortable and confident again which I think we have lacked in the past few weeks. Our wings played and excellent game today complementing the mid forwards to take advantage of the goal net. A real team effort today guys, and very happy to see your team rhythm return back to normal.
