Braidwood Central School welcomed a visit from the Zoomobile all the way from Taronga. In three sessions over two days, kids from BCS and St Bede’s got to see and touch a variety of native animals, including echidnas, possums, stick insects, lizards and even the aptly named Children’s Python!
The program is designed for children who would not normally be able to access the zoo, and aims to teach them about the importance of conservation. The visit was organised by Landcare.
