Braidwood’s own Madeline Anderson will be performing at St Andrew’s Anglican Church on Sunday December 4.
She will be singing alongside some of Canberra’s finest voices, including soprano Elisha Holley and Baritone Andrew Barrow, accompanied by the suave Grant Roberts on piano.
Together guests will be taken on a journey of love, passion, desire and sass and everything in between in this afternoon of classics. With works from Puccini, Mozart, Lloyd Webber and Gershwin and many more, concert goers are sure to be entertained.
This concert has over the last few years, raised funds for our local St Andrews church while also providing an unmissable cultural experience for the community of Braidwood to enjoy.
Anderson was awarded Young Citizen of the Year for Braidwood in 2012 for her efforts to bring musical opportunities to the community and her dedication to her studies. Anderson attended Braidwood Central School and represented the school on several occasions. She says she has always tried to do “little things” to bring music to the town.
Anderson has endeavored in her career to follow her passion for music and singing and has always had a love for bringing as many opportunities to her little hometown. Each year she sings the national anthem for the opening of the Billycart Derby.
Don your Sunday best and come along to St Andrews Anglican Church to support the community and these glamorous artists on Sunday December 4 at 2pm for an afternoon of relaxing song and a light afternoon tea.
