The Palerang Junior soccer began this weekend. The under 12’s soccer team began the season playing the Yass Redbacks.

The game on home turf was an even challenge for the first half, squaring at 1-1, with a lot of the kids still busy finding their place.
The second half presented a bit more of a challenge for us as the back line struggled to keep the skillful Yass forwards at bay.
Yass soon gained momentum, scoring a few quick goals. Our front line pushed ahead, scoring another goal but this didn’t hold back the determination of the Yass team to get more on the board.
Goalie Nathan Hindmarsh had a busy game, as he worked hard to stop Yass’s goals. A great game for the new team.
U16 girls took on Belwest at Latham, winning 6-0; U16 boys took on Canberra Grammar, winning 2-1.
