Another away game deep in Tuggeranong Territory for the Palerang Under 16 boys. After a few near losses and an outstanding game against Marist last week where they held a 2-2 draw with only 10 players, this win was just reward for their efforts.

There were plenty of goal scorers with Harry Jefferies slotting in four, Callaum Doyle three, Sinan Sorial two and Louis Munnings one. It was the hard work of every team member, however, that won this game. Wingbacks and centre backs Adrian Holcman, Rhys Neate, Sinan Sorial and Isaac Quattromini all gave a solid defence as always. Their supreme speed bugged their opposing forwards, as they outran any player who thought they had an easy run to the six yard box.
Keeper Kyle Mitchell read the play beautifully and conducted his orchestra like a maestro. Jeremy Ramm covered every inch of the paddock bamboozling the opposition with a blur of footwork. Careful clever placement of the football by Maxx Biggs and Anunta Bajracharya, saw the ball always finding its mark. Our Forwards and Halfbacks demonstrated great coordinated movement of the ball. Callaum and Harry were brilliant in their hunt for the back of the net and their time in the backline. Louis Munnings and Lachlan Usher playing multiple positions never stopping, moving the ball extremely well between pitch halves, constantly running and adjusting their attacking and defensive game.
A valiant effort from Tuggeranong, the score line doesn't reflect the skilled players they are. There was great passages of play and a both teams showed great attitude on the pitch.
The boys all play football with a lot of heart and it's great to watch.
